Brenda E. Keith

Brenda Keith, AttorneyBrenda E. Keith joined Boutin & Altieri in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Miss Keith managed her own law practice. She practices in the areas of municipal law, land use and zoning law, commercial litigation, estate planning and probate administration, and guardianship matters.

Miss Keith has extensive experience advising municipalities on a broad range of issues, including RSA 91-A, Right-To-Know requests and responses, tax assessment and collection, planning and zoning matters, employment issues, negotiating complex, high-value municipal contracts, including host community agreements for private solid waste facilities, drafting and adopting municipal ordinances and regulations, budgetary issues, real estate financing, acquisition and conveyancing, boundary and easement disputes, quiet title actions, and conservation easements. Miss Keith has appeared before the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the Waste Management Council on behalf of her municipal clients. She has served as litigation counsel for several New Hampshire towns and has appeared before the New Hampshire Supreme Court.

Miss Keith conducts an active estate planning practice. She counsels individuals on wealth transfer, trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, business succession, and end-of-life planning, including guardianships and conservatorships. She also assists clients with administration of estates through New Hampshire Probate Courts.

Miss Keith is a former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives and has served on the boards of many community and professional organizations, including the Town of Derry Planning Board and the Derry Town Council. She is currently serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pinkerton Academy and has for many years been associated with the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program, currently serving as its President.
